An All the Mons server is All the Mods 10 with Cobblemon fully built in: hundreds of tech and magic mods plus Pokémon-style catching, battles and trainers. The pack is more fun with a group, but its server needs are those of a full-size ATM. Here's what an All the Mons server needs, how much memory to get, how to install the pack on Elysium and what to tune after the first launch.

What All the Mons is

All the Mons, or ATMons, comes from ATMTeam — the same team behind the main All the Mods line. The idea is to take ATM10 with its 400+ mods and weave Cobblemon right into the progression instead of leaving Pokémon as a side minigame. The pack runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge. The project appeared on CurseForge in January 2026, version 1.0.0 landed in July, and by September the pack had reached 1.3.0.

What the authors added on top of ATM10:

  • Cobblemon quests. The classic ATM10 progression is still there, now with Pokémon quests and mechanics woven in.
  • Custom trainers and structures. Trainer battles and world structures were designed specifically for this pack.
  • Poké Balls from modded materials. The recipes are reworked, and high-tier balls are best mass-produced on automated production lines.
  • The ATM Star. The ultimate endgame goal, as in other ATM packs. Crafting it takes mastery of complex tech and magic plus rare Pokémon-related resources.

The authors promise regular updates with new quests, trainers and spawns, and so far they deliver. For a server that means one thing: the pack version changes often, and you'll constantly need to make sure every player runs the same version as the server. For the main line — ATM9 and ATM10 without Pokémon — we have a separate page on All The Mods hosting.

JavaJava 21
Server packyes, official, released alongside each version on CurseForge
Memoryfrom 12 GB for 2–3 players

Why so much memory? The server loads all four hundred mods in full: it registers blocks, items, recipes and quests, and all of that lives in RAM the whole time. Cobblemon adds to it: Pokémon in the world are full creatures that spawn around every player. The more people spread across the map, the more of them the server handles at once.

Don't add your own mods to the pack without a good reason. ATMTeam tunes recipes and quests to this exact set, and a foreign mod can easily break the crafting chain to the ATM Star or crash the server on startup.

How much RAM you need and which plan to pick

The baseline for All the Mons is 12 GB for two or three players. If you play as a bigger group, you need headroom: every player keeps loaded chunks with machines, farms and Pokémon around them. We cover how to size memory for modpacks in detail in how much RAM a modded server needs.

PlayersElysium planPrice
2–3Apex, 12 GB€30.99/mo
4–10Vanguard, 14 GB€35.99/mo
10–20Titan, 16 GB€40.99/mo

Memory is only half the story. Minecraft runs the main world loop on a single thread, so a heavy pack depends on per-core clock speed: automated lines, magic rituals and herds of Pokémon are all processed every tick. Elysium servers run on Ryzen 9 7900X at up to 5.6 GHz with NVMe drives, and the data center is in Frankfurt, so ping from across Europe is low.

How to install All the Mons on an Elysium server

All the Mons is in our CurseForge modpack catalog, so there's no need to assemble mods by hand.

  1. Open the order page and find All the Mons in the modpack list using search.
  2. Pick a plan. The form suggests the smallest plan by memory and marks plans that are too small for the pack.
  3. Pay for the order and wait for the setup: the server downloads the pack from CurseForge and installs NeoForge.
  4. Start the server from your dashboard. The first launch takes noticeably longer than usual while four hundred mods initialize and build their recipes.
  5. Check that the pack version in your players' launchers matches the version on the server, then connect using the address from the panel.

If you already have a server, you can install All the Mons from the panel in the Modpacks tab. It's a clean install: all server files, including the world, are deleted, so make a backup first. How a NeoForge server differs from a regular one and how to work with it is covered in our article on NeoForge server hosting.

Tip: update together

All the Mons updates often. When a new version comes out, agree with your players to update at the same time: first a manual backup on the server, then the server update, then everyone's launcher. That way nobody gets stuck on a mod mismatch error in the middle of a session.

Server settings after installation

All files are available in the panel's file manager and over SFTP. The pack authors don't list special server.properties requirements, so start with sensible values for a heavy pack:

  • view-distance=8 — how far the server sends terrain to players. For ATM10 with Pokémon, 8 chunks is a good start; raise it if you have headroom.
  • simulation-distance=6 — the area around each player where mobs, machines and farms tick. A smaller area noticeably cuts CPU load.
  • white-list=true — if the server is just for friends, turn on the whitelist and add players with whitelist add <name> in the console.
  • max-players — set the real number of players so you don't keep spare slots open.

Generating new chunks in ATM10 is heavy: lots of biomes, structures and modded ores. If your players like to scatter across the map hunting rare Pokémon, the first days will put the most load on the server. It helps to explore in groups and keep view distance modest until the map is settled.

Common problems and fixes

A player can't join because of mods

It's almost always mismatched pack versions. The server and every player need exactly the same All the Mons version. Check it in the launcher and don't add client mods that the server doesn't have.

The server won't start

Open the console in the panel: NeoForge tells you which mod failed and why. If it's a mod you added yourself, remove it from the mods folder and restart. If the error mentions Java, make sure Java 21 is selected: you can switch it in the Versions tab, and changing only Java leaves the server files untouched.

The server freezes and reports running out of memory

An OutOfMemoryError or long pauses mean the pack is cramped. This usually happens when more people play than you planned for. Move up one plan in the table above.

Lag around a big base

Poké Ball production lines, farms and dozens of machines in one spot load the server tick. If TPS drops, look for runaway contraptions or farms piling up thousands of items, and lower simulation-distance.

Backups and pack updates

An Elysium server makes an automatic backup every night, plus manual slots: 5 on Apex, 6 on Vanguard and 7 on Titan. Updating the pack through the Modpacks tab is a clean install, so make a manual backup first and save the world folder over SFTP so you can put it back after the new version is installed. Before big updates, read the changelog on the pack page: if the authors warn that old worlds aren't compatible, it's better to finish the current world on the old version.

If you want the same ATM10 with a different start, look at ATM10: To the Sky, the skyblock version from the same team. And if you only want Pokémon without hundreds of tech mods, the official Cobblemon modpack is lighter and cheaper to host.

Launch your All the Mons server on Elysium

Ryzen 9 7900X at up to 5.6 GHz, NVMe, a data center in Frankfurt, nightly backups and DDoS protection. For All the Mons with friends, Apex 12 GB at €30.99/mo is a good fit.
